According to reports, Jack Thorne, the mastermind behind ‘Adolescence‘, expresses enthusiasm about collaborating once more with his team on a potential sequel, adopting the single episode structure again.
The creator, responsible for the upcoming David Tennant series ‘The Hack’ and collaborating on Sam Mendes’ Beatles films, stated that the team behind Adolescence isn’t finished perfecting their distinctive approach to production, which involved filming each episode in one continuous take and overcoming every logistical hurdle associated with this method.
Perhaps we’ll try a standalone performance again in the future, as long as we discover an effective approach for narrating that particular story.
Affirming a distinct difference from the narrative presented in Adolescence, he clarified, “Indeed, we’ve told the Miller story. However, there’s no intention of creating spin-offs related to it. We don’t foresee any such plans.
We’re keen on continuing our storytelling journey together and find this system quite appealing. Throughout our creative process, we’ve picked up valuable insights from it, and we’re eager to explore further and delve deeper if given the opportunity.
