Adolescence creator teases follow-up series: “I don’t think we’re done”

According to reports, Jack Thorne, the mastermind behind ‘Adolescence‘, expresses enthusiasm about collaborating once more with his team on a potential sequel, adopting the single episode structure again.

The creator, responsible for the upcoming David Tennant series ‘The Hack’ and collaborating on Sam Mendes’ Beatles films, stated that the team behind Adolescence isn’t finished perfecting their distinctive approach to production, which involved filming each episode in one continuous take and overcoming every logistical hurdle associated with this method.

Perhaps we’ll try a standalone performance again in the future, as long as we discover an effective approach for narrating that particular story.
