ShaggyBearGames is creating a new adventure mystery game called Lost & Found. Players will solve the mystery of lost items by finding their owners and learning the stories behind them. The game is coming to PC via Steam, but a specific release date hasn’t been revealed yet.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
In the adventure mystery game Lost & Found, you play detective, helping people find their missing items and learning the stories behind them. The game has a unique look, combining different art styles like 2D, 3D, and pixel art. You’ll need to gather clues and talk to people to make sure everything gets returned to its rightful owner.
Return to a Small Rural Town You Once Called Home
The year is 2007. Rico, an artist who recently lost his job, is trying to make ends meet in the city. When opportunities are scarce, he heads back to his hometown and takes the only job he can find: working at the local Lost and Found.
Luisiana has changed a lot since you last visited. Many of your friends have moved away for work, local businesses are struggling, and your favorite places aren’t what they used to be. Take some time to see what’s still there and reconnect with the people you miss.

Explore, Find an Owner of a Lost Belonging, Return Item, Repeat
It seems like a straightforward task, but people aren’t always honest. Some might try to take credit for things that don’t belong to them. Your goal is to collect information and figure out who is telling the truth. However, proceed with caution – some lost things are better left undiscovered.
Everyone Has a Story to Tell
A core idea behind the game is celebrating individuality, which is reflected in its diverse art style – a blend of 2D, 3D, pixel art, and even claymation. Every character is intentionally designed to feel distinct and hint at a hidden past. Pay attention when you talk to people in town, too – they all have memories, stories, secrets, and sometimes even mislead you. The things they say could be important later on.
Every Item You Return Matters
Whether it’s a well-worn wallet or a notebook filled with a beloved family recipe, every object holds a personal history. Returning these lost items to their rightful owners could reveal heartwarming stories and positively impact the game, but giving them to the wrong person could create unforeseen problems and alter the course of events.
