However, the crowd was taken aback when John Travolta, playing Danny Zuko, made an unexpected appearance to greet them! Travolta’s presence not only delighted attendees but also sparked conversations among stars like Hannah Waddingham and Rita Wilson.

The Oscar-nominated actor, despite being 71 years old, manages to convincingly portray his character from one of the iconic ’70s films. Sporting a stylish salt-and-pepper hairstyle and a black leather jacket, Travolta brought his greaser persona to life. In the second slide, you’ll notice him confidently striding across the stage, referencing a memorable line from the movie where he tells Sandy that he thought she was returning to Australia, much to the delight of the audience.
Fans who are followers of John Travolta were equally excited and eager for his Hollywood Bowl appearance, just like any other fan would be. Here’s what Desperate Housewives‘ Teri Hatcher shared about the event in her comment on Travolta’s post:
