Age of Attraction: Libby Reacts to Speculation Over Andrew’s Sexuality

Just a week after publicly confirming she was still with Andrew Wheeler on the season one reunion of Age of Attraction, the 23-year-old playfully responded to rumors about her boyfriend’s sexuality. This came after a fan jokingly suggested they were in a ‘lavender relationship’.

Libby didn’t seem to mind being called a ‘gbf’ – a term usually used for close, platonic relationships between people with different sexual orientations, like a gay man and a lesbian. She even joked about it in a TikTok post on April 8th, calling herself the “best gbf ever.”

Okay, so Libby’s TikTok about Andrew definitely had a playful vibe, but honestly, she was really genuine about how he’s everything she’s ever looked for in a guy. And yes, there’s a bit of an age gap – he’s 39 and she didn’t mention her age, but she clearly doesn’t see that as a problem! It was sweet to see her openly share that he ticks all her boxes.

She shared on TikTok that she made a list of everything she wanted in a partner ten days before meeting her boyfriend, Andrew, and he perfectly matches all her criteria. She jokingly added that she should have also included age on the list.

She did remember to comment on Andrew’s height, and in a TikTok video of them dancing on a balcony, she specifically said how happy she was that he was so tall.

Singing along to SZA’s “Big Boy,” Libby playfully pulled Andrew closer and into the frame. He responded by wrapping his arms around her and kissing her neck.

Above the clip, Libby wrote, “ur sign to specify height when manifesting ur future mans.”

They’ve been dating for more than a year, but they’re still long-distance. She lives in San Diego, while he’s in Baltimore raising his two teenage daughters.

Andrew shared that he’s ready to deepen his relationship with Libby, and he’s thinking about moving in with her and meeting his children.

He explained to Nick Viall and Natalie Joy on The Viall Files that he wants to be sure their relationship is progressing towards engagement and a lifelong commitment – including living together – before introducing them to his family. He needs to be confident he’s ready to propose and that’s where things are headed.

Libby wasn’t bothered by it at all, and she actually appreciated how mature her boyfriend was being about everything.

It’s difficult for me to discuss things involving children because I don’t want to overstep boundaries. They’re part of a family who didn’t choose to have their lives shared publicly, and I want to be respectful of that. I mostly admire how mature he’s been in handling the situation.

Libby and Andrew weren’t the only couple from the show to try dating after filming. Here’s an update on what the other stars of Age of Attraction are up to now…

Even though there was a 20-year age difference, Pfeifer decided to move from Seattle to Dallas to attempt a relationship with the father of two, a decision she described as a sacrifice.

She told him at their commitment ceremony how incredibly lucky she felt to have found him. “So many people search their whole lives for something like this,” she said, “and I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving without you and regretting it forever.”

A year later, Derrick went to the reunion by himself. He shared that it proved too difficult for Pfeifer to relocate across the country, and they ended their relationship about a month after the show was filmed.

He found out she lived near college fraternities and sororities while sending her things back to Seattle from Dallas. He commented that she was still living a college lifestyle, but was about to start a very different life, caring for a five-year-old with her new partner. He felt that was a big change.

Theresa received a supportive letter from her three grown children, which gave her the confidence to ignore any criticism about their age difference (she was 54, he was 27). Feeling encouraged, they decided to pursue a relationship together.

Knowing they wrote that to you makes me feel so much better and happier. I hadn’t even seen what it said. That’s why I don’t want to end things here,” she explained, then added quietly, “What really matters is our connection, not how long we’ve known each other.”

During a reunion episode set to air in April 2026, the couple announced they had broken up. Theresa explained that John’s sister and another person from the show made her feel self-conscious about getting older, and when those feelings overwhelmed her, John wasn’t able to offer the support she needed.

Theresa explained she really needed support and encouragement, but didn’t receive it. John concurred, adding that age wasn’t the problem unless they focused on it, and that Theresa felt self-conscious about being seen in public and receiving unwanted attention.

Vanessa was enthusiastic about starting a relationship with Logan, even saying she wanted to share her life with him. However, Logan was unsure, as he worried about the 20-year age difference and wondered if he was a good match for her.

He questioned whether their relationship was good for them, using terms like ‘toxic’ and ‘healthy.’ Then, on Commitment Day, he asked for the promise ring back.

Once they were free from their past commitments, Logan was finally ready to propose, and he surprised her by getting down on one knee.

He said it’s been an incredible journey, and he’s completely devoted to her. He believes she deserves all the best things in life, including a championship ring like Kobe Bryant’s.

He proposed with an engagement ring, asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. She happily accepted, making this her fifth engagement.

They were still engaged in the April 2026 reunion. 

Logan said they weren’t planning a wedding right away, preferring to live together first. They were considering where to settle – either in Dallas, Ohio (where he’d been checking job opportunities), or a completely new location.

Chris, 15 years younger than Leah, ended the relationship because he felt overwhelmed by her constant desire to be with him.

We’ve discussed our differing views and were upfront about what we each expect in a relationship. It seems we both want the same things long-term – a family and a settled life – but perhaps we envision achieving them at different speeds, he said. He also felt the age gap created unnecessary pressure, making it difficult for him to be his authentic self for the first time.

As he put it, “That’s why ultimately, I feel that this partnership is not right.”

So, how did Leah react to the breakup? 

I always hoped someone would choose me, but I refused to chase after it. I also realized I can’t change anyone into something they’re not. I came to this retreat hoping to find love, but it didn’t happen. Ultimately, I discovered a lot about myself – I’m a strong, smart, and beautiful woman, and whoever I end up with will be lucky to have me.

He worried he was holding Libby back from enjoying her twenties, but she told Andrew, who is sixteen years older than her, that she believed he would simply enhance her life.

“It feels like it’s finally my turn to be happy,” he told her, smiling. “I know I’m being a bit corny, but I’ve been thinking about where things could go from here. I’m not sure what people call it now – a ‘hard launch’ or a ‘soft launch,’ or something even newer – but I’d really like to start dating you officially.”

Libby agreed, with the pair making plans for her to go to Baltimore to meet his daughters.

They were still a couple at the April 2026 reunion, even though they were living apart and planning to eventually move to Florida together, with him also spending some time in Baltimore.

She hadn’t yet met his children, and Andrew explained they were still working out how to make a long-distance relationship work before introducing them.

He described the relationship as still feeling new and exciting, noting they only see each other once a month. He explained they haven’t had the chance to see how things would work with everyday life, as they haven’t spent much extended time together.

Despite a significant age difference – he was 33 years older than her – the couple didn’t last until the final Commitment Day. They broke up while still living together, due to disagreements about Vanelle’s choice to remain celibate and an incident where Jorge had a confrontation with a stranger.

However, she noted, “I don’t necessarily think it has anything to do with his age.”

Vanelle explained that misunderstandings with Jorge stemmed from a lack of clear communication about their boundaries. Specifically, romantic moments created confusion about whether they were still abstaining, and they never had a detailed discussion to clarify those expectations.

He confessed he still had feelings for her, saying their connection was incredibly deep. She responded that she had always seen him as her husband, and no one else mattered.
