Andy Serkis, famous for his acting—especially his unforgettable role as Gollum (formerly Smeagol) in The Lord of the Rings, recently voiced a character in a new adaptation of Animal Farm. Unfortunately, early reviews suggest it wasn’t a success.
It seems the movie Animal Farm isn’t impressing critics. Ahead of its May 1st release, early reviews have been harsh, giving it a low 27% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 22 reviews.
It’s still uncertain how viewers will react, as opinions often differ, but Serkis is hoping for a positive reception to prevent Animal Farm from being forgotten.
