In the universe of “Alien,” three additional extraterrestrial species were added to the mix, joining the Xenomorphs and Facehuggers in causing chaos on Earth. The prequel TV series, uniquely set within the “Alien” universe, made history by initially introducing the feared Xenomorph onto our planet. The narrative unfolds when the crew of the Maginot spaceship is brutally killed by the Xenomorph and other alien beings residing aboard, resulting in their ship crashing into a futuristic, utopian city called Prodigy City.

It emerges that the Maginot ship belongs to Weyland-Yutani, the ominous corporation from the Alien franchise. This vessel was dispatched into space on a mission to capture dangerous alien lifeforms, as part of the company’s objective to lead in the quest for the key to immortality. As anticipated, these creatures eventually led to numerous fatalities in ‘Alien: Earth’.

Xenomorph

In any Alien series, the fearsome Xenomorphs are an essential element. They’re the main source of terror and deaths throughout the franchise, as evidenced by their recent appearance in 2024’s film Alien: Romulus.

In the fictional universe of Alien, Xenomorphs are often referred to as top-tier predators due to their extraordinary physical prowess, swiftness, and nimbleness. Their body is armored with an indestructible biomechanical shell that resists all forms of physical harm, and they can even employ their corrosive blood as a lethal tool.

Instead of spending time demonstrating the threat level of the Xenomorph, the movie shows the destruction left behind after its brutal attack, along with the escalating death toll. The Xenomorph in the prequel was even capable of effortlessly taking down both soldiers and civilians, indicating that it will be extremely challenging for any ordinary human to subdue it.

Facehuggers

In simpler terms, Facehuggers represent the second phase in the Xenomorph’s life cycle, acting as vectors for implanting eggs inside a living organism. These small, spider-like creatures pose a significant threat because once they attach to someone’s face, their victim is essentially doomed.

The creatures move extremely quickly and persistently chase their targets using this speed. Upon making contact with the target, they insert a tubular structure into the victim’s throat for the purpose of implanting a Xenomorph embryo.

As a devoted movie buff, especially when it comes to the Alien series, I must admit my excitement was building for ‘Alien: Earth’, expecting a thrilling display of the facehugger’s terrifying capabilities. However, in the twist that left me on the edge of my seat during Episode 2, we discovered that the Xenomorph had already laid its eggs on the spaceship! This implies that it’s merely a countdown until those menacing little creatures burst onto the scene and turn our peaceful existence upside-down.

Species 64 (T. Ocellus)

In the second episode of Alien: Earth, a chilling new entity known as Species 64 made its debut, boasting an extraordinary, fear-inducing ability.

As a devoted movie buff, I’d describe this intriguing creature as follows: In the realm of cinematic horrors, there exists an entity known as T. Ocellus, popularly recognized as Species 64. This terrifying organism operates as an eye-zombie, with the chilling ability to seize control over its victims by invading their eye sockets. Once attached, it can rob them of life in a heartbeat. But here’s where things get truly unnerving – even after the victim’s demise, this relentless parasite continues to commandeer their lifeless body, transforming it into a vessel to be used until it finds its next unsuspecting host. A chilling reminder that death offers no escape from its clutches.

In the wake of the Xenomorph assault, T. Ocellus demonstrated its prowess by manipulating Maginot’s deceased feline, feigning the movement and behavior of the lifeless creature. It waited patiently for the opportune moment before executing a strategic attack.

Plant-Like Alien 

In the initial episode of “Alien: Earth”, a colossal and vegetation-like being was spotted. This creature was given more depth in Episode 2, though its specific details remain somewhat elusive. Character Kirsh, played by Timothy Olyphant, described it as something that appears to be plant life, but could potentially be an animal. Put simply, it might look like a plant, but it could actually be an animal.

In a fascinating turn of events, one of the Lost Boys, named Tootles, came across an unusual plant-like entity. The entity seemed to attempt communication with him, but for some reason, it abruptly ceased. It’s plausible that these beings subsist on living organisms rather than synthetics, mirroring the consumption habits of creatures like the Xenomorphs.

Parasitic Leech-Like Creatures 

In the initial two episodes of “Alien: Earth”, an otherworldly type of parasite is noticeable, which appears to possess the capacity to drain all the blood from its host, much like the way a tick operates.

This slimy, quick organism is both rapid and highly invasive. It employs its compact structure as camouflage, allowing it to silently infiltrate its prey undetected.

The creature has previously killed a rat and two soldiers from Prodigy, suggesting it could pose a threat to the rest of the team in upcoming episodes. Despite their small size, there’s no doubt that these beings are capable of cold-blooded murder.
