With the first season of *Alien: Earth* coming to an end, online talk about a possible second season has grown stronger. A well-known insider recently suggested on X (formerly Twitter) that the show might be renewed, which has gotten fans very excited, even though there’s been no official confirmation yet.
Alien: Earth Season 2 said to be a done deal
Fans are getting excited about the potential for a second season of Alien: Earth. A recent post on X (formerly Twitter) by industry insider MyTimeToShineHello suggested that Season 2 is likely happening, stating simply, “Looks like season 2 is happening.” While this is promising, the show’s producers haven’t officially confirmed anything yet.
The possibility of a second season is gaining traction after comments from the show’s creator, Noah Hawley. When asked if he had ideas for continuing the story, Hawley confirmed that he does, and that he has a clear vision for where the story is headed and what it will ultimately mean. His main concern now is finding a way to move forward efficiently so fans don’t have to wait a long time for new episodes.
FX executive John Landgraf had previously hinted at another season being possible. He explained to Variety in 2024 that the network wants Noah Hawley to prioritize his work on the upcoming series *Alien: Earth* before considering a sixth season of *Fargo*. Landgraf stated they’re optimistic about *Alien: Earth* and have asked Hawley to write at least two seasons of it before returning to *Fargo*.
