Why Alison Victoria Confronted The Sin City Rehab Contractor

Alison Victoria, well-known as a devoted Chicago resident on television, recently surprised her fans by leaving the city. After selling her beloved home for a substantial profit and facing professional challenges, she moved to Las Vegas. Her new show, Sin City Rehab, follows her as she revives her business in a city where she lived during her late teens and early twenties.

The first two episodes of the new season featured several disagreements between the design expert and a contractor named Jeff, who was hired by one of her clients. These clashes escalated to a point where Jeff ultimately told her he no longer wanted to work with her. When asked about the situation by People magazine, Victoria explained:

Look, I can’t pretend to like the guy, but I’m not one to dwell on negativity. Honestly, holding onto anger just feels wrong, both in life and, especially, on screen. If an actor can’t let go of personal issues while performing, something feels deeply inauthentic. It’s like, are you really just presenting your true self? And in this case, what I saw from Jeff… well, it confirmed my suspicions. He is who he is, and that person isn’t particularly pleasant. I’m not going to try and soften that – he’s just an asshole, plain and simple.

Victoria started working with these clients while their home was already under construction by a general contractor named Jeff. During a meeting, the clients told Victoria that Jeff was difficult to work with. Her first meeting with Jeff was cold, and their relationship quickly deteriorated.

After learning Jeff had harshly criticized her work – calling it “shit” during a client call – Victoria met with him and ended their professional relationship. She then continued speaking, saying:

I’ve always been assertive and spoken my mind. I also strongly defend the people I care about, and that includes my clients, who often become like family to me. I refuse to be taken advantage of, and I think that’s clear in this situation. I won’t tolerate disrespect, and I believe that’s a key reason for my success. It’s possible some people find that level of confidence intimidating.

People might delay dealing with her, but Victoria always stands up for herself and her clients when she believes it’s the right thing to do.
