All 10 He-Man Villains Confirmed for the Masters of the Universe Movie, Ranked by Excitement To See Them

Everyone loves the epic battles and memorable characters in Masters of the Universe. Fans are looking forward to the new live-action movie, but they’re especially eager to see the villains take center stage. Good news – the film will feature 11 villains, and we’re ranking them based on how excited we are to see their stories unfold.

10. Pig Boy

Let’s talk about Pig Boy, a character who appeared in the original Masters of the Universe movie. He was created as part of a fan contest and became one of Skeletor’s key helpers, frequently seen carrying Skeletor’s staff. So far, we haven’t seen Pig Boy in any trailers, but he’s probably in the movie somewhere, even if it’s just a small role – we’ll likely have to wait until the film is released to see him.

9. Karg

Those who enjoyed the original 1987 movie will be glad to see Karg back – he was a character created just for that film. He looks much the same as before, with his signature wild hair and hook hand, but now he’s sporting updated armor. It’s still unclear how big a role he’ll play in the action, but fans are eager to find out what the filmmakers have planned for him.

8. Spikor

Okay, so I’ve been pouring over all the footage, and Spikor is definitely a villain to watch. Seriously, with all the cool baddies like Goat Man and Beast Man, Spikor just jumps out. The way they designed him for the movie makes him look incredibly dangerous, like a real threat in a fight. We haven’t seen a ton of action from him yet, but that one fight scene? Brutal. I’m really hoping they’ve got a lot more Spikor battles planned throughout the rest of the film – he seems like he could deliver some seriously awesome fights.

7. Goat Man

Goat Man, a powerful villain previously only hinted at in toy releases, has finally appeared in the latest preview footage. He’s impressively large, dwarfing even He-Man, and his exaggerated design perfectly captures the feel of the original cartoon – which is exactly what fans want to see.

6. Gygor

Gygor is a particularly unique character because he was originally designed for a toy line but wasn’t released until much later. He’s a gladiator gorilla who’s currently only available in the Mattel Creations Brick Shop set, suggesting he’ll appear in the movie. If the film portrays Gygor with the same level of detail as its other villains, fans might be in for a real treat.

5. Beast Man

I’ve just gotten a look at some new footage, and let me tell you, Beast Man is a force to be reckoned with. We see him battling Adam – before his full transformation into He-Man, mind you – and it’s a seriously impressive showdown. The design team really nailed his menacing look and sheer power; watching him stomp through cars on his way to Adam was a highlight. Honestly, I’m hoping the finished film gives us even more of Beast Man going toe-to-toe with our heroes – he’s shaping up to be a fantastic villain.

4. Trap Jaw

Trap Jaw is shaping up to be a major villain in the new movie, appearing prominently in promotional material. We’ve seen him defeat Man-at-Arms and nearly defeat Adam, and a single scene highlights his impressive, transforming arm. Hopefully, the movie will give us a satisfying rematch between Trap Jaw and Man-at-Arms before it’s over.

3. Tri-Klops

Tri-Klops is a well-known character from the Masters of the Universe franchise, but he hasn’t appeared much in the initial movie clips. However, what we have seen looks great! He’s been given a modern costume and a new role as the team’s sniper, complete with a powerful rifle. With this fresh look and skillset, the movie now needs to give him a truly impressive on-screen moment.

2. Evil-Lyn

Skeletor is the main villain, but he relies heavily on Evil-Lyn’s powerful magic to succeed. She’s back in the new movie and seems important based on the trailers, though we haven’t actually seen much of her using her powers yet.

We’ve only gotten quick looks at Evil-Lyn so far, but we did see her fighting Teela, which promises to be a really exciting scene in the movie. It’s also unclear where her loyalties lie – is she truly with Skeletor, and how will that affect the story? We’ll find out as the movie unfolds.

1. Skeletor

Ultimately, Skeletor is He-Man’s greatest enemy, and he’s become one of the most famous villains of all time. As more footage is released, excitement for the character continues to grow.

Skeletor’s design perfectly captures the look and feel of the original cartoon. His voice is suitably intimidating, but also retains the fun, over-the-top energy of the character we remember. We’re particularly excited about Skeletor, and it seems like many others are too!

Masters of the Universe is set to hit theaters on June 5th, 2026.
