These spooky, scary skeletons are ready to send shivers down your spine.
The annual Halloween party hosted by Heidi Klum wasn’t just for costumed characters! Celebrities like Darren Criss, Jett Puckett, and Campbell Puckett (known as Pookie) also attended the event at the Hard Rock Hotel New York on October 31st, each dressed in elaborate Halloween costumes for the famous bash.
Former Glee star Darren Criss and his wife, Mia Swier, chose playful costumes inspired by the movie Shrek. Darren dressed as Shrek himself, while Mia went as Puss in Boots.
During the event, “Pookie” playfully impersonated both Elvis and Priscilla Presley. Rei Ami, known for her role in KPop Demon Hunters, cleverly dressed as her character Zoey from the popular Netflix series.
As Heidi hinted earlier, she started working on her Halloween costume way back in August, even before Halloween was close!
She told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that her Halloween party is definitely happening. She plans to go all out with a really frightening and grotesque costume, and joked about having 86 days to prepare, even though she’s clearly keeping track!
Looking back at her first designs, the Project Runway star admitted she wasn’t very creative with them.
She wasn’t thrilled with her first costume. She’d envisioned a Heidi-inspired outfit – a traditional dirndl-style dress made of shiny patent leather – but ended up having to do her own hair and makeup because she didn’t know a professional special effects artist at the time.
Heidi is collaborating with prosthetics designer Mike Morano again. He previously worked with her to create her impressive Jessica Rabbit costume – inspired by the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit – and now they’re tackling a new, worm-inspired look.
Heidi always loved creating incredibly elaborate costumes, hoping they would inspire her guests to let loose and enjoy themselves.
I always hoped my over-the-top outfits as the host would inspire my guests to do the same,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018. “And it’s worked – people have definitely gotten more and more creative with their costumes over time.
