The first trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine game is out, and it looks like players will encounter some of Wolverine’s most famous enemies from the comics. Although Marvel hasn’t officially revealed the villains, we’ve identified all of them who appeared in the trailer.
List of all villains in Marvel’s Wolverine game
- The Reavers
The Reavers seem to appear in the trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine. The criminal cyborg group has long been an enemy of the superhero. Moreover, it seems that he will face off with them in the game, too. - Prime Sentinel
The Prime Sentinel, as seen in X-Men ’97, also makes an appearance in the trailer. As shown in the series, Prime Sentinels are humans infected by nanites. They can be activated and turned into mutant-hunting creatures. - Mystique
The iconic Mystique is also a part of the trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine. She may not be a direct villain to the superhero, but she is still a key part of the X-Men story. - Omega Red
A classic Wolverine villain, Omega Red, also appears in the trailer, and it seems that he will be one of the major antagonists. Omega Red is a Russian mutant with Adamantium tentacles. - Bastion
Bastion also appears in the trailer. Bastion, as depicted in X-Men ’97, is an evolved sentinel who wants to wipe out mutantkind. - Sentinel
Of course, the game features the Sentinel, the robots designed to kill off mutants. The Sentinels have played a key role in many X-Men movies and comics, and are seemingly the biggest threat in the video game as well.
The trailer doesn’t feature every major Wolverine enemy – we don’t see Sabretooth or Silver Samurai, though they could still appear in the final game.
Marvel’s Wolverine will release sometime in late 2026.
