You might recall Sea of Remnants being shown off during a PlayStation State of Play last year. It stood out as one of the more interesting games revealed at the event.
Sea of Remnants is a free-to-play pirate RPG developed by NetEase and Joker Studio. It’s an adventure game set in a unique world filled with characters made of wood.
Its latest trailer is here, and the game continues to look crazy ambitious and super stylish:
The game is hard to describe briefly. You can freely explore a central pirate town called Orbtopia, which is full of different minigames and activities, including things like mahjong and drinking games.

You can also engage in exciting naval battles where you use your ship’s weapons to fight off enemy ships and dangerous sea creatures.
Plus, the game includes turn-based combat when you’re exploring on land. You’ll also build a team to help you in battles and while you’re sailing.
If you’re eager to follow the game’s development and see how it unfolds, a limited closed alpha test will be available next month, but unfortunately, it’s only on PC through Steam.
The event takes place from February 5th to 12th, and you can sign up now until January 23rd. Just follow the game on social media, or join the Discord server and complete a short questionnaire to register your interest.
Excited about Sea of Remnants? If you’d like to participate in the closed alpha test, let us know in the comments!
