If you’re a fan of anime like *Initial D* and *MF Ghost*, you’ve probably come across JDM: Japanese Drift Master.
The game originally came out on computers earlier in the year. It’s a fast-paced street racing game reminiscent of classic arcade titles like SEGA’s Initial D and the Ridge Racer series.
The game has received mostly positive reviews on Steam, though a few players have mentioned issues with the physics, which might just be a matter of individual taste.

Here’s how the publisher describes it:
JDM: Japanese Drift Master offers a fun and realistic driving experience that feels great whether you’re using a controller or a full racing setup. Explore a huge open world with hundreds of kilometers of roads, complete story-based missions, and improve your drifting and racing skills. Get ready to experience the excitement of authentic Japanese street racing!
Like I said, the game has a huge open world, and it’s awesome being able to drive around in officially licensed cars – I’m talking brands like Mazda and Nissan! It really adds to the experience.
While the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S starting November 21st, PlayStation 5 players will have to wait until sometime in early next year to play it.
Gaming Factory might not have enough resources to release both versions at the same time, and it’s frustrating to have to wait.
We’re hoping the game will be more polished with a few updates and fixes when it’s finally released on PS5.
