Being a city builder is a never-ending job, no matter the game, and that’s true for *Anno 117: Pax Romana* as well. Ubisoft recently revealed details about their Year 1 support, including three paid DLC packs, beginning with *Provinces of Ash*.
The latest update introduces a new island dominated by a looming volcano. Called *The Hippodrome*, this downloadable content adds a coliseum where players can host chariot races, recreating a popular Roman pastime. It’s currently unknown if the update will include gladiatorial combat, or the chance to duel the champion to the death.
Okay, so the latest DLC is *Dawn of the Delta*, and it takes the game to Egypt! It adds a whole new province and culture, which honestly felt a little random at first. But then I remembered I can already play as the Celts in Britain instead of Rome, so Egypt actually fits right in and gives us some cool new options.
The strategy game *Anno 117: Pax Romana* will be available on PC and Xbox Series X/S starting November 13th. Details about downloadable content coming after launch will be shared later, so keep an eye out for updates.
