The first-ever Pokémon life simulation game, Pokémon Pokopia, is coming out in about a month! It will also be the first Pokémon game available only on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the March 5th release date getting closer, fans can still pre-order the game. Pre-ordering not only guarantees you can play on day one, but also unlocks some special bonuses. Now, Best Buy has announced its own unique pre-order bonus, bringing the total number of options for fans to three!
The Pokemon Center was the first to offer pre-orders for Pokemon Pokopia, and I think their bonus gift is still the most appealing. Now, you can also pre-order Pokopia from Amazon and Best Buy, and each store has its own special bonus. If you’re deciding whether to pre-order the new Pokemon game, I’ll explain all the bonus options available.
All Pokemon Pokopia Pre-Order Bonuses And Where to Get Them
Pokemon Pokopia comes out on March 5th for the Nintendo Switch 2. You can buy a physical copy of the game, but it will come with a Game-Key Card to access the full game. Pre-ordering can also get you some bonus items, depending on the retailer.
Pokemon Center Pokemon Pokopia Pre-Order Bonus
If you love Ditto, this is a great option! Pre-order Pokemon Pokopia from the Pokemon Center and you’ll receive a cute Ditto plush. It’s the real Ditto, not the human-like Ditto version from the game. Currently, pre-orders are only available for the physical copy of Pokemon Pokopia at The Pokemon Center.
Best Buy Pokemon Pokopia Pre-Order Bonus
Best Buy is now offering a special bonus for pre-ordering Pokopia. If you don’t want the plushie that was previously offered, this is a great alternative. When you pre-order the game—either the physical copy or the digital download—from Best Buy, you’ll receive a *Pokemon Pokopiathemed canvas tote bag. It features characters from the game and is quite adorable.
Amazon Pokemon Pokopia Pre-Order Bonus
Okay, so a lot of us weren’t thrilled with Amazon’s pre-order deal at first, but it is a pretty cool bonus you can only get there. If you buy a physical copy of Pokopia from Amazon, you’ll get a special flat-leaf plant to decorate with in the game! They do have digital copies listed too, but you won’t get that extra item if you go digital.
You can pre-order Pokemon Pokopia at GameStop and the Nintendo eShop, but currently, neither store is offering any special bonuses for pre-ordering.
If you pre-order Pokopia from any store, you’ll receive a special Ditto rug to use in the game. You’ll get this item through the game’s Mystery Gift feature, which returns from previous Pokémon games. Most retailers mention this bonus in their pre-order details, so it seems like everyone who pre-orders will get a code for the rug.
