In ARC Raiders, the quest “A Lay of the Land” is started by Shani and asks you to explore the Spaceport area.
Shani needs a LiDAR scanner and believes one is located at the Spaceport. Check the shipping records – you should be able to find it there!
In this quick guide, we’ll help you finish this quest easily by telling you where to look.
A Lay of the Land Quest Guide | ARC Raiders
To start, head to the Jiangsu Warehouse. You’ll find it in the northwestern area of the Spaceport map.
After you arrive, head inside the warehouse and take the stairs to the office upstairs. You’ll find shipping notes on a desk with a view of the warehouse floor. These notes will tell you where to go next!
According to the shipping instructions, your next stop is Control Tower A6. You’ll find it in the southeastern section of the Spaceport map. It’s a bit of a distance, but thankfully it’s still on the same map as you are now.
When you get to Control Tower A6, take the stairs up to the Flight Control Office. Once you’re inside, turn right to find a small workspace with a box you can interact with. The video shows the best way to get there.
Once you locate the box, simply open it to obtain the LiDAR Scanner! We suggest storing it in your Safe Pocket, so you won’t lose it if you happen to die while completing the quest.
Now that’s done, head back to Speranza. Bring the LiDAR Scanner to Shani to complete the “A Lay of the Land” quest in ARC Raiders!
