ARC Raiders: A New Type of Plant Quest Guide

The “A New Type of Plant” quest in ARC Raiders is simple, but finding the plant itself can be challenging. You need to locate a unique plant in the Dam Battlegrounds and bring it back to Lance. Here’s a quick guide to help you complete the quest efficiently, without searching the entire map.

Search for the New Plant near the Baron Husk

For this mission, go to the Old Battlegrounds on the Dam Map – that’s where you’ll be spending most of your time. You’ll be searching for a giant, wrecked ship called the Baron Husk. It’s huge and easy to spot, and it will be clearly marked on your map.

As you approach, look around the base of the Husk for several plants that are glowing. You can interact with these plants – they’re the items you need for the quest.

Once you’ve finished interacting, be sure to collect the Possibly Toxic Plant and put it in your Safe Container to keep it safe, just in case something happens.

There are a couple of hidden areas where items can appear near the Baron Husk. If you don’t see anything right away, quickly walk around the structure – you should find them soon.

Deliver the Possibly Toxic Plant to Lance

After you’ve collected the plant, simply return to Lance and give it to him. This will finish the quest and you’ll receive your reward immediately.

Easy, right? It’s one of those short-and-sweet missions that’s more about exploring than fighting.
