The “Doctor’s Orders” mission in ARC Raiders seems straightforward at first, but finding the necessary medical supplies can be surprisingly difficult. You’ll need Antiseptic, a Syringe, and Great Mullein. While you can find some of these items by looting, it’s often quicker to buy or recycle for them. Here’s a guide to help you complete the mission efficiently.
Where to Find Antiseptic & Syringe
The most reliable spot to start is the Pharmacy in Barrett City.
The location is marked on the map, but you’ll need to break down the door to get in. Once inside, you’ll find lots of medical supplies on the shelves. You’ll also see some items for later quests, including one called Reveal in Ruins, which is on the counter.
Here’s the thing: while you can reliably find Antiseptic at the pharmacy, the Syringe isn’t guaranteed to be there. Many players, including me, have checked several times without finding it.
If you need a Syringe, don’t worry! You can buy one directly from Celeste, which will save you a lot of time.
Pro Tip: Easy Antiseptic Farm
If you’re short on Antiseptic, there’s a super quick workaround:
- Buy Sterilized Bandages from Lance the Trader in Speranza (they cost around 6K each).
- Then recycle those bandages, you’ll get 2 Antiseptics back from each one.
As a bonus, Lance will give you 3 extra Sterile Bandages and some other useful items after completing this task. It’s currently one of the simplest ways to gather resources in the game. (Players discovered this trick, so thanks to them!)
Where to Find Great Mullein
To find the herbs for the quest, go to The Dam Map and enter the Testing Annex building. Once inside, head down to the lower floors and search the flooded area – that’s where you’ll find plenty of Great Mullein growing near the water. Collect as much as you can, as you may need it later on.
Wrap-Up
To complete the “Doctor’s Orders” quest, you’ll need to get Antiseptic (either from the pharmacy or by recycling), a Syringe from Celeste, and collect Great Mullein at the Dam.
