In ARC Raiders, you can often find Magnetrons and Geiger Counters spawning in the same areas.
These items are both uncommon, but valuable. You’ll need one to complete certain quests, and you can break down the other for hard-to-find resources. Plus, you can sell either one for a good price!
But where exactly do you find them? That’s what we’ll answer in this quick guide.
Magnetron & Geiger Counter Locations | ARC Raiders

Let’s start with the difficult part: finding the Magnetron and Geiger Counter is entirely based on chance. They don’t appear in specific, predictable locations.
These items aren’t just your run-of-the-mill loot, they’re tagged as ‘Exodus’ items. What that means is you’ll mostly find them in the more futuristic, indoor sections of the game, but honestly, they can pop up anywhere, so keep your eyes peeled!
Good news! The Stella Montis map is entirely made up of high-tech indoor areas. That makes it the perfect place to find both of these items together.
As mentioned earlier, these items don’t have specific places where they always appear. This means there isn’t a reliable farming location for them, even in Stella Montis.

The best way to find these items is to play the map as you normally would, but be sure to open every container you come across. All containers have a chance to hold the items you’re looking for. Some players have had more luck checking the Medical Research and Assembly areas, but ultimately, it’s still based on chance.
These items appear more often in areas that require a key to access. A good place to start looking is the Stella Montis Security Checkpoint.
The Magnetron is definitely needed for the Snap and Salvage quest, but the Geiger Counter doesn’t appear to have any particular purpose.

You can recycle Geiger Counters at the Raider Den to get Exodus Modules. Or, you can sell each one for 3,500 coins, which is a pretty good amount.
That’s everything we know about finding the Magnetron and Geiger Counter in ARC Raiders! We hope you have good luck finding these rare items, Raider.
