The new Riven Tides update for ARC Raiders includes a new map, a new map condition, and increased enemy threats. It also improves the game’s graphics on the PlayStation 5 Pro with Enhanced PSSR support, making it look even better on that console.
Robert Kihl, Engine Lead at Embark Studios, revealed the upgrade in a PlayStation Blog post, detailing its upcoming features and improvements.
The updated PSSR provides clear and detailed images in any setting. It effectively minimizes distracting visual issues like flickering and shimmering, leading to a noticeably cleaner and more stable picture, particularly in scenes with a lot going on.
We’ve always been impressed with how ARC Raiders looks, and these recent improvements will likely make even more people want to give it a try – even if they don’t usually play this type of game.
The update doesn’t just make the game look sharper; it also improves the details of the game world and minimizes visual blurring. The PlayStation 5 Pro version appears to be the top choice for console players of ARC Raiders, and thankfully, we’ll be able to experience it soon.
The Riven Tides update arrives on April 28th. Now all we have to do is get ready and eagerly await its release.
