The popular online game ARC Raiders on PlayStation 5 is getting a big update that will take advantage of the enhanced technology in the new PS5 Pro, specifically its upgraded PlayStation System Raytracing (PSSR) capabilities.
On April 28th, 2026, Embark Studios will launch update 1.26 for their hit extraction shooter, with a major focus on improving the game’s graphics on the PlayStation 5 Pro.
The game is receiving a visual upgrade with improved PSSR upscaling, making it look sharper and clearer on the PlayStation 5.

According to sources, the enhanced PSSR will offer clear improvements for PS5 Pro gamers, especially when playing visually complex games like Arc Raiders.
This technology eliminates common visual problems like flickering and shimmering, improves how moving objects are displayed compared to older methods, and makes particle effects appear clearer with less blurring.
