Arknights: Endfield version 1.2 update ‘At the Wake of Spring’ launches April 17

On April 17th, GRYPHLINE and Mountain Contour will release a free update, “At the Wake of Spring,” for their 3D RPG, Arknights: Endfield.

This update focuses on the latest chapter of the Wuling story, introducing significant plot twists, a challenging boss battle, a new character to play as, more areas to explore, and improvements to how you build and manage your factory.

Trouble is brewing in Wuling! The story kicks off with an urgent message from Zhuang Fangyi after the unexpected arrival of Ardashir near a vital facility called the Marker Stone, which is key to Wuling’s safety. Simultaneously, Nefarith is launching an all-out attack, meaning players will finally face her in battle as the crisis worsens. Zhuang Fangyi, a major character in the ongoing story, will also become playable in this update, offering players a unique combat style focused on powerful Electric attacks and skilled swordplay.

The “At the Wake of Spring” update adds a new story along with more areas to explore in Wuling. Later in the update, players will be able to test out a disaster-recovery area where they’ll rebuild, solve puzzles, and discover more about the region. The update also enhances the game’s building and crafting systems with a new base, resources, and production options, building on Arknights: Endfield’s mix of fighting, exploring, and large-scale construction.

This update brings fresh in-game events, lasting changes to how the game plays, several improvements to make things smoother and more enjoyable – including better progression, combat, and base building – and extra goodies for players.

You can now play Arknights: Endfield on PlayStation 5, PC (through the official launcher and Epic Games Store), and mobile devices (iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play).
