Here’s the latest update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows! Patch 1.1.6 is now available for PlayStation 5, and it’s about 4GB in size. This update was released on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, at 3 PM.
This update adds two new free quests. One is a surprising crossover with Attack on Titan, featuring Naoe and Yasuke as they work to stop a giant threat.
However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. This event is only available until December 22nd, likely because of licensing restrictions. Also, the awesome *Attack on Titanthemed armor shown in the picture isn’t free – it comes with a paid downloadable content pack. That’s a bit of a bummer!
Ubisoft has done this before, with a similar collaboration in Dead by Daylight. While there are free rewards you can earn through quests – including a crystal katana for Naoe – it seems the most desirable items are still only available if you pay for them.
The second free quest, called ‘A Puzzlement,’ involves the game’s main characters resolving a funny disagreement. Once completed, they’ll both unlock new abilities, according to the latest game update.
- Naoe will learn how to perform her own spectacular version of Yasuke’s war kick ability.
- Yasuke will learn how to stealthily dispatch enemies in a non-lethal way.
This is the final update regarding Ubisoft’s planned ‘Fall Roadmap’ for Shadows, though we expect some level of support will continue for the game for a bit longer.
Original Story: Well, we’re not sure anyone saw this crossover coming.
Ubisoft has officially announced that the next collaboration for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be with the popular anime and manga series, Attack on Titan.
Okay, I’m seriously hyped! It looks like my two favorites, Naoe and Yasuke, are going to be teaming up in a new quest, and get this – they have to stop a Titan from transforming! I can’t even believe it’s real, but it is! I’m so excited to see how this plays out.
Currently, we only have the short trailer to give us a preview, but the main event starts November 25th – which is tomorrow as of today.
Just keep in mind this offer won’t last forever. The quest is only available until December 15th, 2025.
I was really excited when I saw all the awesome *Attack on Titanthemed gear in the trailers, but it turns out it’s not free! You actually have to pay extra for it as part of a DLC pack, which is a bit of a letdown, honestly.
