Attack on Titan 3: Release date speculation and what to expect from new AoT game

If you’ve been waiting for more Attack on Titan, get ready! The third season is almost here.

As a huge Attack on Titan fan, I’m so excited for this new game! It looks like we’ll finally get to experience the entire story from start to finish. And the best part? We actually get to use the Omni-Directional Mobility gear and fight those terrifying Titans ourselves around Paradis Island – it’s going to be incredible!

If this sounds like the game you’ve been waiting for, here’s the information you need about the release date and what to anticipate in Attack on Titan 3.

When is the Attack on Titan 3 release date?

At the time of writing, there is no confirmed release date for Attack on Titan 3.

The game was officially announced as part of the June 2026 Summer Game Fest Showcase.

The reveal trailer concluded with news that a new update called “Next Scouting Report” will launch on July 1st, providing more information about the game.

A lot of people thought that last post meant the game was coming out soon, but that wasn’t right. I’m hoping this new scouting report will finally give us a better clue about when we can actually expect it, though!

Since the trailer largely featured actual gameplay, it seems the game is well underway. We’re guessing it might come out in 2027, but that’s just our prediction at this point.

What platforms is Attack on Titan 3 on?

Attack on Titan 3 will launch on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.

These platforms are all listed on the game’s official page on the Koei Tecmo website.

Unfortunately, this does mean the game will not be coming to last-gen consoles.

Can I pre-order Attack on Titan 3?

Attack on Titan 3 is not currently available for pre-order.

What to expect from Attack on Titan 3

As a huge Attack on Titan fan, I’m so excited for Attack on Titan 3! What’s really awesome is that this game is going to cover the entire manga storyline, from the very start to the very end. It’s the first game to do that, which is incredible!

Players will create and control their own unique character who joins the Survey Corps and experiences the world of Attack on Titan firsthand.

Players will join forces with popular characters like Eren, Mikasa, and Levi to battle the Titans both within and outside the Walls.

This game will mark the first-ever appearance of all nine Titans from Attack on Titan, making it a truly special release.

The developers say they’ve significantly improved how players move around in the game, creating faster and more exciting fights than ever before in any Attack on Titan game. It sounds really promising!
