In August 2024, Bungie dismissed Barrett, and Joe Ziegler, previously a director on Riot Games’ Valorant, took his place. Sony didn’t share many specifics about why Barrett was let go, but they stated it was due to “gross misconduct.” It’s important to remember that Bungie was also facing challenges at the time. Netflix has cancelled a diverse range of shows – including crime dramas, spy thrillers, comedies, animated adventures, and mysteries – meaning we won’t get any new seasons after 2025. The latest trailer for Stranger Things Season 5 starts to tie up some unanswered questions from the previous part. We see Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) reaching out to her forgotten sister, Kali (Linnea Berthelsen), for help in finding and defeating Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower). The trailer also shows Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) and his friends exploring a disturbing discovery within the Upside Down version of Hawkins Lab – something that seems to change their understanding of the dark dimension. Elsewhere, Holly Wheeler (Nell Fisher) and Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) are fighting to escape Vecna’s control from within his mental world. The trailer’s most impactful moment comes when Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) and Dustin share a heartfelt promise: “If you die, I die.”

Here’s a look at what happened.

Fitzrandolph also hinted at plans to bring DX and the European Tour to Steam and consoles next year.

As a huge Kardashian fan, I was so excited to see Kris Jenner share some incredibly rare photos of Mason and Reign to celebrate their birthdays on December 14th! It’s amazing to see pictures of a newly sixteen-year-old Mason and eleven-year-old Reign that we haven’t seen before.

Along with sharing a drawing of an Allosaurus, Douglas mentioned he’d rather see the series take place in new locations instead of revisiting familiar ones. He also pointed out the challenges faced by the original Tomb Raider developers in the 1990s, who created the game with a small team of just six people.

Witchfire first became available on the Epic Games Store for PC (you can read our review here). It’s now also available in Steam Early Access. The complete game, with the full story, will launch next year, but one final update is coming before then, adding the last region to explore.
