During a recent interview with writers Damian Shannon and Mark Swift while covering the promotion of Send Help, ComicBook learned that Sam Raimi is planning another horror movie. They confirmed Raimi intends to remake a popular, but lesser-known, horror film from the 1970s.
Ahsoka is important to the Star Wars story because she offers a unique, long-term viewpoint spanning different time periods, despite not being a main character in the original films. Through her, we see how the Jedi are remembered and how their traditions continue even after the Jedi Order fell, existing outside of its old rules and structure.

In addition to announcing Apple TV+ is creating shows based on Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere universe, it’s been revealed Sanderson will oversee all adaptations, acting as the central creative force behind the franchise. One of the biggest hurdles the series faces is casting, as the ethnicities of the characters are deeply important to the story and the world of Roshar – the primary setting for these shows.
During the 2020s, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen have become the most popular anime. Jujutsu Kaisen started its third season in January 2026 and continues to be a huge hit with audiences. Adapted from the manga by Gege Akutami, the series is known for its excellent animation style, which elevates even its already impressive action scenes.
Thankfully, this movie concludes the Harlin trilogy. However, it’s one of the most uninspired horror films in recent years, and its short 90-minute runtime feels much longer. Filled with awkward silences and pointless flashbacks that don’t reveal anything new, the movie barely feels like a complete film. It’s all held together by the barest of threads.
The popular snowboarding game Cool Boarders is now available on Nintendo Switch 2! After a 20-year hiatus, the game—which was a classic on the original PlayStation—returns. Following its 1997 debut in the US, new Cool Boarders games were released almost every year, with Cool Boarders 4 arriving in 1999. Now, thanks to publisher Hamster and their new “Console Archives” series, the very first Cool Boarders is playable on Nintendo hardware for the first time ever.
With science fiction proving popular, Hollywood is sure to start searching for its next big sci-fi project soon. Luckily, several exciting books coming out in 2026 offer plenty of potential. We’re already excited about stories ranging from a gamer-versus-alien apocalypse to a thrilling space opera featuring a skilled samurai, and hope to see them adapted for the screen.
It’s striking that the most recently released Lord of the Rings games tend to receive the lowest review scores. Is the quality of LOTR gaming really declining? Or is there another explanation? Older Lord of the Rings games were typically role-playing games (RPGs), which suited the fantasy world well. Newer games, however, have tried different approaches, incorporating elements from popular genres like survival and life simulation games. Perhaps some of these negatively reviewed games aren’t as bad as people say. I decided to investigate Metacritic’s rankings of the lowest-rated Lord of the Rings games to see if their reputations are truly deserved.
