Although DreamWorks hasn’t officially announced his return, the villain from “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” has reappeared thanks to a studio artist. Daria Khil created a new image of the Wolf checking his own version of a “Naughty List.” DreamWorks hasn’t said if or when we’ll see the animated Grim Reaper again, but the ending of the latest Puss in Boots movie suggests a possible return. While a new Shrek film is planned for 2027 with Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and their kids, it’s currently unclear if Puss in Boots and his friends will be featured. A developer who worked on Metroid Prime 4 recently shared in an interview with Famitsu magazine that the game includes open-world elements because of the original design goals. When Retro Studios took over the project in 2019, they were instructed to follow this initial vision. The success of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild also influenced this decision, as fans began requesting a similar open-world experience in a Metroid game.

Work on the next game started way back in 2022, meaning it could take eight years to finish. While CD Projekt Red is also working on The Witcher 4, that’s a separate team. It’s likely they’re taking their time after the rocky start of the first game, wanting to ensure this one is fully polished. Plus, reports suggest they’re adding multiplayer features, which will naturally extend the development process.

In 2025, television offered an overwhelming amount of content, from realistic crime shows to imaginative animated series, demonstrating that viewers will engage with stories if given the chance. This list focuses solely on brand new limited series or seasons that both started and finished airing in 2025. That means we’ve left out consistently running animated shows like Teen Titans GO!, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and Batwheels, as their seasons continue into 2026. It started so promisingly, but then the series just…lost its way. It was like being on a rollercoaster that unexpectedly jumps the tracks. Suddenly, the story felt flat, or the plot became confusing and dragged on. I found myself watching, genuinely puzzled about how something with so much potential could fall apart so completely. It was a real disappointment.

What truly makes Black Clover stand out is how well it manages its story and large group of characters. Each character, like Noelle learning to believe in herself or Zora’s tough outlook, gets a chance to develop – something you don’t often see in shows with so many people. And the action? It’s incredibly exciting! The animation isn’t perfect, but when it’s good, it’s amazing. The magic battles are visually stunning, driven by intense emotions and incredible power boosts, and they’ll keep you hooked. The series definitely uses familiar shonen story elements, but it embraces them with so much passion that you can’t help but cheer for the characters.
