As a longtime Marvel fan, I’ve noticed something interesting: a lot of their original heroes from the Golden Age, unlike those at DC, didn’t really evolve after World War II. They were often replaced by newer characters. It’s easy to forget these early heroes, but a few have become true legends! Honestly, I think they’re incredibly important because they built the foundation for the amazing, creative universe Marvel is known for today. Without them, things would be very different.

Hiromu Arakawa’s Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a highly anticipated new anime series debuting in Spring 2026. Crunchyroll has announced it will receive an English dub, and now they’ve confirmed the English dub episodes will be released on the same day as they air in Japan, starting with the premiere on April 4th. If you grew up with the classic Final Fantasy games, you might be surprised to hear the series is struggling to attract younger players – and that’s becoming a real concern. While we know why this is happening, there haven’t been many discussions about how to fix it. Though there aren’t any new costumes for Pokemon this time, it’s a fantastic chance to find Shiny versions. All 11 returning costumed Pokemon can be Shiny in Pokemon Go, making it a good opportunity to catch those that are rare. Plus, each costumed Pokemon appearing during the event will have an increased chance of being Shiny.

In 2026, the top-rated game for Xbox Series X is Resident Evil Requiem by Capcom, followed by Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, also from Capcom. Marathon, a PlayStation title, comes in third. It’s important to note these rankings are based specifically on review scores for the Xbox Series X versions. Many of these games are available on multiple platforms and might receive better scores elsewhere. When considering all platforms, Marathon actually ranks eighth overall, as the PlayStation 5 version has the most reviews and a score of 81 on Metacritic. However, regardless of how the scores are sorted, Marathon consistently appears among the highest-rated Xbox Series X games, and PlayStation titles generally outperform games developed by Xbox Game Studios.

A standout example comes from a popular Marvel movie released 12 years ago. It was one of the first times the franchise built a story around a supporting character, and that character has become even more interesting over time. The movie’s impact goes beyond just being a great sequel; it significantly shaped the future of the entire franchise, making it a truly memorable and important installment, even today.
