No film using Frankenstein’s name feels as distant from Mary Shelley’s original story as Frankenstein Conquers the World (known as Frankenstein vs. Baragon in Japan). Like many films directed by Ishirō Honda, it’s a monster movie focused on a creature rampaging through a village. However, while it shares a name with Shelley’s novel, it’s quite different in tone and style from other famous kaiju films like Gojira and Rodan.

Mattel is releasing new Masters of the Universe (MOTU) and ThunderCats figures, along with a special King Randor figure from the original 1980s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon. This King Randor figure is based on his appearance in the 1984 episode “The Magic Falls,” which featured celebrations at the Royal Palace. He includes a Scepter of Power and sword as accessories.

Ruben Fleischer, the director of the Zombieland movies, recently told Deadline that he’s aiming to start working on Zombieland 3 around 2029. He explained that the first two films were released ten years apart – 2009 and 2019 – and they ended the second movie with a hint that a third installment could arrive a decade later. He’s now beginning to plan the project, though he also has other potential films in development, so the timing isn’t certain.
