Bill Flynn, Voice of One Piece’s Genzo and Detective Conan’s Dr. Agasa, Dies at 86
In the animated series “One Piece,” Flynn portrayed Genzo, a recurring character, while he voiced Dr. Agasa in the initial seasons and the first six movies of “Case Closed.” However, he continued to voice Genzo until 2019 for the East Blue special of “One Piece.” Later on in “Case Closed” anime dub, Christopher Guerroro took over as Dr. Agasa. Flynn also lent his voice to characters in “Attack on Titan,” “Fairy Tail,” “Gunslinger Girl,” “Barakamon,” and “Heaven’s Lost Property.” He is survived by his sister Betty, brother John, and son Aaron, leaving behind a wealth of dubbed performances that will long be remembered by fans.
