Sony is about to release its new game, made specifically for the PlayStation 5, and each time we get a glimpse of it, we become even more excited to play.
I’m so hyped for Saros! It’s the new arcade shooter from Housemarque, and it’s launching on April 30th. I just saw some gameplay, and it looks just as fast-paced and tough as their last game – exactly what I was hoping for!
Although Saros is a different game than Returnal, it shares many of the same fundamental gameplay elements and combat mechanics. This means it will be incredibly fun to play, but also quite challenging.
This clip, which appears to show a boss encounter (or at least a mini-boss), is evidence of that.
Saros aims to be a bit easier to pick up than Returnal, but Housemarque still wants it to be a tough game. Just look at how many things you have to dodge!
Okay, so I’ve got a shield in this game, but it’s not a ‘get out of jail free’ card. Some fights are going to be total chaos – I’m talking constant dodging and weaving to avoid some seriously wild bullet patterns. It’s going to keep me on my toes, that’s for sure!
If you’re interested in the game Saros, the recent previews are a good look, but we’re almost at the point where we can all play it ourselves – just a few weeks away!
