Guy Fieri Shares Health Update After Tearing His Quad Muscle

Guy Fieri, 57, says he’s recovering well after a leg injury. In an interview with People magazine, he described a difficult holiday season but expressed gratitude for being able to move around again. Fieri, known for his active lifestyle – he enjoys CrossFit and hiking – found eight weeks without those activities particularly challenging. He’s eager to get back to them, but is taking things slowly.

The injury happened in November while filming Flavor Town Food Fight. Fieri tripped while stepping forward, catching his foot and tearing his leg. He had surgery soon after and spent the past eight weeks getting around with a wheelchair and crutches.

14 Years Ago, a Forgotten Animated Series Gave Comedy Fans a Sequel They Always Wanted (And Now It’s Impossible to Watch)

On January 15, 2012, Fox launched an animated series based on the world of Napoleon Dynamite. A big draw for fans was the return of the original cast to voice their characters, including Efren Ramirez as Pedro, Tina Majorino as Deb, Jon Gries as Uncle Rico, Aaron Ruell as Kip, Diedrich Bader as Rex, and Sandy Martin as Grandma. Unfortunately, the series only lasted one season, with just six half-hour episodes.
