
The retro 8-bit basketball game, Basketball Classics, is now available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch for $9.99. Acclaim and Namco Gamo, the publisher and developer, are offering a 10% discount for a limited time as a launch promotion.
Basketball Classics was initially released on Steam for PC in Early Access on March 24, 2018, and then officially launched on December 18, 2019. You can also find it on the Microsoft Store.
David Pilkington, co-founder of Namo Gamo, announced that their long-held dream is finally coming true with the release of Basketball Classics on consoles around the world. The game has been in development for nearly ten years, and they expressed gratitude to Acclaim for helping them achieve this goal. They also hinted at a sequel, Super Basketball Classics, coming in the future.
