Recent leaks about the upcoming *Battlefield 6* indicate it might include features fans have been asking for. The *Battlefield* series is known for its large-scale, chaotic battles where players fight on land, at sea, and in the air to capture objectives and control the map. You can play as infantry or use a variety of vehicles. Mastering all the different ways to play takes time and skill, but it’s very satisfying. For example, skilled jet pilots can dominate the skies, tank players can break through enemy lines, and helicopter pilots can provide crucial support by attacking objectives or taking out snipers.
I’m really enjoying the new Battlefield! It definitely *feels* like Battlefield – it gives you that classic experience we all love. It’s not perfect, there are a few things that bug me, but it seems like the developers are already working on fixes. Honestly, though, it does feel a little bit like they took a step back by leaving out some features from older games in the series. It’s great, but not quite everything I hoped for.
The large-scale destruction feature, Levolution, isn’t as prominent as it was in previous games, and naval combat is completely missing – there aren’t even any boats. While big naval battles weren’t central to *Battlefield 3* and *4*, their absence represents a step back for the series.
Battlefield 6 Leak Indicates Return to Naval Warfare

Things might be changing for the next *Battlefield* game. Insider Gaming discovered code suggesting naval combat could be added to *Battlefield 6*, specifically mentioning jet skis and RHIB boats – familiar to players of *Battlefield 3* and *4*. While there’s no information on *when* this feature will be released, the code indicates it’s currently being developed. It’s possible this has been in progress for a while and could arrive with Season 2 of *Battlefield 6*, which is expected to start in January.
The first season for *Battlefield 6* starts later this month and includes two new maps. However, early looks suggest these maps won’t focus on water, meaning we probably won’t see boats or jet skis right away. Players have been asking for naval combat to return, and the *Battlefield 6* team has hinted that it—along with ‘little birds’ (likely helicopters)—is planned for the future. We’ll have to wait and see when these features will be added, but hopefully it won’t be long.
