Beastars Releases Final Trailer Ahead of Netflix’s Final Season

The anime series Beastars will conclude its run on Netflix later this month with a final set of episodes. The show is based on Paru Itagaki’s manga, which finished a few years ago, and fans are excited to see how the anime adapts the story’s ending. Following the release of the first part of the final season, Netflix will stream the remaining episodes, completing Beastars’ third and final season.

Fans can soon enjoy the final season of Beastars on Netflix, launching in just a few days. To build excitement, Netflix has released a new trailer for Beastars: Final Season Part 2, offering a preview of the concluding episodes. This trailer also marks the first look at the English dub for the series finale, and you can watch it now.

When Does Beastars’ Final Season Come Out?

The final part of Beastars Season 3 will premiere worldwide on Netflix on March 7th, concluding the season that began in 2024. Shinichi Matsumi and Nanami Higuchi are back as directors and writers, with Studio Orange handling the animation. Like previous seasons, all episodes of this final part will likely be released simultaneously. Viewers can enjoy the series with both Japanese and English audio options.

While the English dub’s voice actors are still being finalized, the Japanese voice cast has gained several new members, including Shinichiro Miki as Yahya, Shigeru Chiba as Gosha, Koji Okino as Melon, Tessho Genda as Sagwan, Fumiko Orikasa as Seven, Houko Kuwashima as Leano, Yuko Minaguchi as Toki, Tomokazu Seki as Deshico, Ryusei Nakao as Cornu, Aya Endo as Ten, Wataru Takagi as Miso, and Anri Katsu as Savon. It remains to be seen how these new additions will impact the anime’s remaining episodes.

What’s So Special About Beastars?

When the first season of Beastars came out, it made a big impact. It led to more anime adaptations of Paru Itagaki’s work – she’s created a lot of new manga and stories since then – and also helped people appreciate computer-generated (CG) animation. Studio Orange’s work on the series has significantly improved how fans view CG in anime over the last five years.

I remember when CG animation first started popping up in anime – a lot of fans, myself included at first, were pretty skeptical! It often felt like a quick fix, and the tech just wasn’t quite there to make it mesh well with the beautiful 2D animation we all loved. But then Beastars came along and really changed the game, proving CG could work! Since then, we’ve seen some incredible projects, and as the series wraps up, it’s clear Beastars has earned its place as a truly important part of anime history.
