We’re excited to announce that a playable demo for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties will be available on PS5 soon!
It officially launches at 9pm Pacific Time on January 21st. This means most people will be able to access it starting January 22nd at 2am Eastern Time, 5am in the UK, and 6am in Central Europe.
Just so you know, the demo looks like it’ll be quite substantial. You’ll get to play as Kiryu in Okinawa, experiencing both his improved Dragon of Dojima fighting style and a completely new Ryukyu fighting style that focuses on weapons.
Playing as Kiryu, you can experience side stories, customize his outfits, and enjoy minigames such as karaoke.
Plus, you can experience the new Dark Ties campaign, playing as the character Mine. This lets you learn about his backstory, try out his unique combat skills, and participate in some special side missions.
It appears the demo will only let you experience fixed scenarios, meaning any progress you make won’t transfer to the complete game.
If you’re excited to experience the updated combat and graphics of Yakuza 3 with the Dragon Engine, this demo will provide several hours of gameplay.
