Billy Crystal knows better than anyone how a friend can be here today and gone tomorrow. 

The star of When Harry Met Sally still recalls a conversation he had with his friend, director Rob Reiner, at a party hosted by Conan O’Brien. This happened the night before Rob and his wife, Michele Reiner, were tragically killed at their home.

Billy explained to Stephen Colbert on The Late Show that he and Rob first connected in 1975 while discussing their careers.
