More details will be revealed soon, as a panel about the anime is scheduled for Anime Expo this July.
U.S. fans will have a chance to see the first three episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity before anyone else at special screenings from June 25th to 29th. How Will Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War End?
The new anime season continues the story from the final parts of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga, focusing on the intense battles between Ichigo and his friends against Yhwach and his elite Quincies. Expect to see some incredible power-ups, including Ichigo’s new abilities gained from training with Squad Zero. Yhwach himself has also become significantly more powerful.
Similar to the previous parts of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, creator Tite Kubo has expanded on the final arc, adding extra content not originally present in the manga. This makes the anime a more complete and definitive version of his vision for the story, meaning even longtime fans who read the manga can expect some unexpected twists when it continues this July.
