Bleach Reveals First Look at New Spinoff Ahead of Anime’s Finale

Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the final season of Bleach! Before the fourth and final part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War arrives this summer, a new spinoff will be released. This final season will complete the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s original Bleach manga, but even as it wraps up, there are new releases planned.

Surprisingly, a new spinoff is coming from a fun side project Bleach did for April Fools’ Day a few years ago. The project reimagined the characters as high school students, and it’s now getting its own full series! To mark the release of Don’t Bleach My Fist, you can see a first look with new artwork by creator Tite Kubo below.

Don’t Bleach My Fist Spinoff Cover Art Revealed

Written by Narita Ryohgo with art by Kubo, Don’t Bleach My Fist is a new spinoff story based on the popular April Fools’ joke about a high school universe. It offers a fresh perspective on the conflict between Soul Reapers and Quincies from the original series. The book will be released in Japan on June 4th, before the anime concludes in July. Currently, there are no announced plans for a release outside of Japan.

Good news for fans of Bleach! The final part of the anime series is coming soon. While a specific date hasn’t been announced yet, it’s expected to be released in July. Even better, select theaters in North America will be showing it early in June, giving fans a chance to see the finale before anyone else as the series concludes.

When Does Bleach’s Final Season Come Out in the U.S.?

From June 25th to 29th, the first three episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will be shown in theaters across the United States. Viewers can choose to watch in Japanese with English subtitles or with an English dub. Plus, there’s a special bonus: an exclusive behind-the-scenes discussion with the series creator, Tite Kubo, and the directors, Tomohisa Taguchi and Hikaru Murata, about making the final season. This gives fans a chance to see these episodes before the complete finale is released later this summer.

You can now watch the entire Bleach series, including the new Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, on Hulu (and Hulu through Disney+). Plus, the creator, Kubo, has hinted at some exciting changes and additions to the anime that weren’t in the original manga, giving fans plenty to anticipate in the coming months.
