In approximately two months, the next installment from Gearbox Entertainment’s Borderlands series, titled Borderlands 4, is set to be released. To kick things off, they’ve unveiled a series of cinematic shorts and trailers focusing on their Vault Hunters. The first character introduced is Vex, the Siren. Initially, she was a shy retail worker, but her life took a drastic turn when she gained Siren powers on Mercenary Day. As you might expect, this transformation led to significant violence.
While Amon, the Forgeknight, was puzzled as to why she had arrived on Kairos, everyone agreed it was preferable to working in retail. Besides providing a moment of humor, we also got a brief glimpse into Vex’s skills. As a summoner, she can produce Phase duplicates of herself or a companion named Trouble, which they use to eliminate enemies.
As an alternative, consider using Incarnate, which allows you to release a Phase Explosion from one hand and fire Eldritch Blasts from the other. Vex has a strong capability for inflicting elemental damage, offering numerous choices, particularly when taking advantage of all its skills.
The highly-anticipated release of Borderlands 4 is set for September 12th, available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Keep an eye out, as a Nintendo Switch 2 edition will be hitting the shelves later in the year.
