Another user theorized the discrepancy could be explained in Secret Wars, noting reports that film takes place eight years after Doomsday – plenty of time for Thor’s hair to grow. They added that if this isn’t addressed, it was likely just a one-off joke.

The anime adaptation of Daemons of the Shadow Realm is scheduled to premiere next April. Studio BONES, known for its work on My Hero Academia, will be handling the animation. Having previously animated both Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, both created by Hiromu Arakawa, Studio BONES is a fitting choice for this new project by the same creator.
