According to a recent profile in The Hollywood Reporter, plans for the Star Wars trilogy announced by Rian Johnson are no longer moving forward. Instead of starting a new Star Wars series, Johnson’s next film, following Wake Up Dead Man this year, will be a suspenseful, 1970s-style thriller.

Sadly, Nightwing #132 killed her off, and if anything, it’s actually created more problems for Nightwing in terms of finding good villains.

Bad news for fans: The Hollywood Reporter announced on November 21, 2025, that Paramount has cancelled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin. Instead, they’re moving forward with a new, more family-friendly live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Neal H. Moritz, known for producing The Fast and the Furious films, will produce. This will be the first new live-action TMNT movie since 2016’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and it means the previously announced The Last Ronin adaptation is likely cancelled.
