The sequel, ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard, looks like it’s stepping things up in basically every way.

I’m really excited that Apollo 18 is now on Hulu! It’s a super creepy sci-fi horror movie that takes this cancelled Apollo mission to the moon and imagines what really happened. The filmmakers present it like it’s actual found footage from the mission, which is a really cool and unsettling effect. It got so much attention, NASA even had to publicly state that it’s not a documentary – which just proves how convincing it is! It’s directed by Gonzalo López-Gallego and written by Brian Miller, and I highly recommend checking it out if you’re into that kind of thing.

Anime has had a huge impact on animation around the world, and it’s gotten to the point where many people struggle to define what actually is and isn’t anime. While that discussion will likely continue for a long time, there are still plenty of animated shows that feel very much like anime and could easily be considered part of the genre.

As a fan, I’m really excited to hear that the game is getting a big upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S! It’s going to look amazing with improved graphics, HDR, and it’ll run up to 4K at 60 FPS – thankfully, the PS4 version already got that smooth 60 FPS with an update, so we know it’s possible. And for Switch 2 owners, that’s fantastic news too! We’ll get HDR and 60 FPS, plus cool features like DLSS and even mouse controls, which is a first for the Switch!

The first big surprise in HBO’s Westworld came in the seventh episode of Season 1, “Trompe L’Oeil,” which aired on November 13, 2016. The episode ended with a shocking reveal: Bernard Lowe (played by Jeffrey Wright), the park’s chief programmer, was actually a host – a lifelike robot – created by Dr. Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins) as a replica of Ford’s deceased partner, Arnold. This twist stunned audiences, created a lot of excitement around the show, and perfectly highlighted its central themes. Even almost ten years later, fans are still reeling from the discovery.

The Death Stranding franchise currently includes two games, but creator Hideo Kojima has big plans to expand the post-apocalyptic world in unexpected ways. He recently announced an anime film called Death Stranding: Mosquito, and a separate animated series for Disney+ planned for release in 2027, currently titled Death Stranding: Isolations. The Disney+ series will follow characters similar to Sam Porter Bridges, focusing on their struggles to survive and connect with others in this new world.
