Apple Cancels its First Show of 2026 (After Only 20 Episodes)

Apple TV has decided to end Palm Royale after two seasons, meaning the show will no longer continue after a total of 20 episodes (according to Deadline). This comes as a surprise considering the show received 11 Emmy nominations for its first season, and also earned nominations for its second. Despite positive reviews and recognition, Apple TV hasn’t explained the reason for the cancellation.

Scream 7’s Credits Scene Continues a New Franchise Trend (& Quietly Sets Up Scream 8)

The scene after the credits finishes the story of Scream 7, picking up right after the new Ghostface killers are unmasked and defeated. We see Mindy Meeks-Martin reporting live from the crime scene – with her brother Chad filming – and she keeps making mistakes. This is a funny payoff to a joke that runs throughout the movie, where Mindy expresses her desire to be like Gale Weathers. It also continues a tradition from Scream VI, which also featured a humorous post-credits scene with Mindy, where she questioned the need for them in horror films.

7 Anime That Aren’t Streaming Anywhere (And They Should Be)

It’s surprising that the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime isn’t currently available on any streaming services, but considering Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood came out in 2008 – five years after the original – it makes some sense. Most fans agree that Brotherhood is the stronger series, but the original shouldn’t be overlooked. While the remake more closely followed the manga’s story and ending, the original series deserves to be accessible because of the franchise’s overall influence on anime. Fullmetal Alchemist is frequently mentioned as one of the greatest anime series of all time, and for good reason.

Pokemon Winds and Waves Is Almost Certainly Bringing Back a Fantastic Gen 3 Mechanic

The trailer starts with a look back at older Pokémon games, then immediately showcases the beautiful ocean scenery in the new region of Pokémon Winds and Waves. While it doesn’t reveal much about the story, we get a first glimpse of the new characters and some of the locations we’ll be visiting. A quick shot of a windmill playfully acknowledges past performance concerns. However, the most exciting part is the focus on water, hinting that the diving mechanic, which originally appeared in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, might be returning.
