The new design element is here to stay, as UI designer Elliot Gray jokingly confirmed on Twitter that they have no plans to remove it. He playfully referred to himself as a ‘fontslop merchant’ while making the statement.

The animated series Invincible has released a first look at season four, revealing it will expand beyond the story of Damien Darkblood to feature a wider range of heroes and villains. Clancy Brown will reprise his role, and Matthew Rhys, Lee Pace, and Danai Gurira will join the cast as the villains Dinosaurus, Thragg, and Universa. In 2018, Jack Black collaborated with horror director Eli Roth on a family-friendly horror film called The House with a Clock in Its Walls. Recently available for streaming on Netflix since March 3rd, the movie lets viewers revisit the story. Based on John Bellairs’s 1973 novel, it stars Black alongside Cate Blanchett as a young orphan named Lewis who goes to live with his uncle. When Lewis discovers his uncle is a warlock and unintentionally revives a dangerous sorcerer, they—along with a neighbor—must find a powerful clock hidden inside the house to stop a catastrophic event.

According to Page Six, Warner Bros. executives were very impressed with the latest draft of the script, suggesting the project is likely to be approved. Industry professionals are now waiting for the studio to officially announce if production will begin. Given the recent success of Game of Thrones thanks to its spin-offs, House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, this move makes sense, particularly if the circulating plot details are accurate.

The next Mummy movie is scheduled to come out in 2028, and while fans are calling it Mummy 4 (as a sequel to 2008’s The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor), the filmmakers have clarified its place in the series. The previous film was met with some criticism because Rachel Weisz didn’t appear in it. Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett have now confirmed that Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is no longer considered part of the official storyline, with Gillett stating that Rachel Weisz’s return in the new film makes that clear.

Simply copying how an original actor looked isn’t enough when someone takes on the same role. A successful recast needs a performance that feels truly new and explains why the character works in a different time or format. This can be risky, because fans are often very attached to the original actor’s portrayal. However, some shows and movies have proven it can work – when the new actor captures the core of the character while also bringing their own unique take to it.
