As a supporter, I’m thrilled to share that at the age of 98, I, Brooks, will be executive producing alongside my partner Kevin Salter. Joining us is an incredibly talented creative team, all alumni from the successful FX series “What We Do in the Shadows.” This show, which recently concluded a six-season run, follows four vampires living on Staten Island and was inspired by a previous film version that made waves as an indie darling when it debuted in 2014.

Taika Waititi, visionary director of both the “Shadows” movie and series, as well as the director of blockbuster “Thor: Ragnarok,” will direct the pilot for our new project, “Very Young Frankenstein.” Stefani Robinson, writer and executive producer of the “Shadows” series, will serve as writer and showrunner for our new production. Lastly, Michael Gruskoff, one of the producers on the original “What We Do in the Shadows” film, completes our trio of creators.

However, it’s impossible to cover every sci-fi series out there, so we’ll highlight ten sci-fi shows that were ahead of their time instead.

The movie “The Battle at Lake Changjin,” which became the 2021 blockbuster in China, is now accessible on Prime Video in the U.S., though not widely recognized domestically. However, its impressive box office earnings demonstrate that it made a significant cultural impact regardless.

Immediately after the initial reviews came out during the week, Kojima Productions’ newest release quickly soared among the top-rated games of the year. Critics are raving about the game’s innovative play mechanics, intricately puzzling storyline, and stellar character portrayals.

It appears that poor word-of-mouth has negatively affected its sales prospects, as Ampere Analysis (via The Game Business) reported approximately 250,000 players overall, with 150,000 on PS5 – an irony given that Sony had to offer refunds. However, only 35,000 players are reported on Steam, which is problematic because the developer’s strategy relies heavily on Build.MindsEye, a tool for user-generated content, which is exclusively available on PC.

Indeed, these individuals are hardly honorable knights; they resort to kidnapping children initially before executing their assault, a tactic designed to force the Giants into surrender. It’s Shamrock Figarland, Shanks’ twin and leader of the Holy Knights, who devised such a cowardly strategy. The storyline also sheds light on Shanks knowing his true family origins, yet choosing not to live as a Celestial Dragon. As the manga delves into Shanks’ genuine identity and past, there arises speculation about whether this person was present during the Reverie Incident in Mariejois.
