I was so excited when Digital Eclipse and Capcom finally brought The Disney Afternoon Collection to the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 last week! It originally came out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One way back in 2017, but it’s awesome to have it on Nintendo now. For those who don’t know, it’s a collection of six classic NES games based on Disney properties. We’re talking DuckTales, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales 2, and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2. But here’s the best part: the Switch and Switch 2 version isn’t just the original six! They’ve added Goof Troop and Bonkers, bringing the total up to eight games! It’s a fantastic collection for anyone who grew up with these titles.

A recent leak suggests the next God of War game will center around Faye, Kratos’s wife and mother of Atreus. Players will likely explore her story, as she’s a significant figure from the previous games – remembered for her ashes being carried to a mountaintop in the 2018 game and appearing in visions throughout God of War Ragnarok.

Despite the challenges, there’s still plenty to be excited about! Bungie’s new release, Marathon, is a huge deal and will be available starting March 5th. We also suggest checking out Docked and Scott Pilgrim EX – they look promising too.

On the podcast The Watch, Community writer Andrew Guest revealed they nearly started filming the long-awaited movie continuation after the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike ended. However, a scheduling conflict with one of the actors’ other projects caused further delays. While disappointing, this is actually a positive sign – it confirms the movie is still happening and gives fans hope that it’s moving forward, even if not as quickly as they’d like.

Sant’Albano reports that Capcom expressed a desire to return to the roots of the original, horror-focused Resident Evil games. Interestingly, Sant’Albano herself wasn’t very familiar with the Resident Evil series beforehand, so she had to catch up by watching gameplay footage of the older titles.

The new horror action game came out right before the weekend on February 27, 2026, and early sales numbers look very promising.
