The game Invincible VS will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (through Steam and the Microsoft Store) on April 30th.

Sony has an exciting lineup of games planned for 2026, and September looks like a particularly competitive month. Both Marvel’s Wolverine, releasing on September 15th, 2026, and Phantom Blade Zero, launching on September 9th, 2026, are highly anticipated titles, and their close release dates could lead to significant competition within PlayStation itself.

For the past eight years, Sony had a complicated plan to profit from Spider-Man in multiple ways. They teamed up with Marvel Studios to include Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, but also tried to create their own separate Spider-Man-related movies. While the first few, like Venom, did well, later films and spin-offs weren’t successful, ultimately leading Sony to abandon their plans for a separate Spider-Man Universe.

Fans are frustrated with Nintendo’s choices for which Switch games get upgraded, and the recent update for Xenoblade Chronicles X is particularly disappointing. Calling it Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition suggests the original version isn’t truly definitive anymore, and surprisingly, the new version seems to be a step backwards. It’s baffling why Nintendo chose to update this game instead of others that really need it, and it makes the purpose of these Switch 2 editions unclear.

The original Dance Dance Revolution first appeared in Japanese arcades in 1998, and quickly became popular in North America the next year. By 2000, it was a global arcade hit. Over the decade, the game became more elaborate with a wider selection of songs, larger and brighter screens, vibrant lights, and powerful sound systems. This made it a major attraction in arcades, with players often waiting their turn to dance and hit the pads in time with the music. The game then expanded beyond arcades, appearing on home consoles and in a variety of cabinet designs.

DC Comics features numerous incredible heroes who become Green Lanterns, such as Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, and Jo Mullien. Each hero adds their own distinct personality and story, making Green Lantern a rich and diverse part of the DC Universe. This collection highlights the best stories featuring Green Lantern and the characters who have wielded its power.

Alisa Liu, the American figure skater who recently won gold in both team and individual events, is a huge fan of horror anime. In a recent interview with Overtime, she talked about her favorite series, including the gory and suspenseful Another. She also mentioned enjoying Nana and previously reading works by Junji Ito. Currently, she’s especially into Chainsaw Man, and even joked that her goal at the competition in Milan is to finish the series and share her love for the character Pochita with everyone.

A version of the popular card game Balatro is now available for the Nintendo Switch 2. It first appeared in the German eShop but is now available to US customers as well. Players who already own Balatro on the original Switch can upgrade for free. New players can purchase the Switch 2 version for $14.99, currently discounted by 20%. This release is a bit different from other Switch 2 games that have been launched so far.

Reviews for Resident Evil Requiem are now available, and the scores are overwhelmingly positive. Currently, the game has an average score of 88 out of 100 on Metacritic, based on over 100 reviews from PlayStation 5 players. Versions for Xbox, Switch 2, and PC are scoring even higher, between 90 and 92. This makes Resident Evil Requiem the highest-rated game of 2026 to date, and it’s likely to stay that way for a while.
