While Elden Ring is undoubtedly one of the greatest games ever made, other open-world RPGs provide comparable experiences, and even excel in certain aspects. If you’re looking for a slightly different adventure, these games are all excellent choices.
Don’t worry, this new content is legitimate! The downloadable content adds a challenging endgame dungeon located in the Forlorn Swords area, guarded by a tough boss. Once you defeat the boss, you’ll unlock a lot of new quests and items, all focused on collecting pieces of the King’s soul so you can finally reach Merlin’s Tomb.

Okay, so chapter 2 is going to drop us in Liangzhou, a brand new zone! You’ll unlock it after finishing the Hexi Campaign – specifically, the Whitecrown Fortress quest. From what I’ve heard, it’s a really cool change of scenery – think snowy landscapes and a city built like a jade cup! Apparently, it feels totally different from Jade Gate Pass, which is awesome because it keeps things fresh. I’m really excited to explore it!
Despite not selling as many copies as expected at first, the developers of The First Berserker: Khazan (Neople) and its publisher (Nexon) have continued to update and add content to the game, which players have appreciated. While the Dungeon & Fighter world isn’t well-known in Western markets, Khazan proved there’s interest in the franchise beyond traditional fighting games. The game also stood out from other Soulslike titles with its focus on missions.
I’m really getting lost in the world of The Relic: First Guardian. It’s a lot like Elden Ring – the story isn’t just told to you, you uncover it by exploring this huge, broken world. And it reminds me of The Witcher too, because I’m playing as the last person who can actually save everything. Seriously, the visuals are amazing and it’s a massive fantasy RPG – I can’t put it down!
