Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is now included with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions. Although originally released for PS4, it can also be played on PS5. It demonstrates a diverse range of builds, with different races, skills, and playstyles – something RPG fans will love! You’ll determine how to interact with The Living Lands, and your choices will have lasting consequences.

This update is a significant download – 13 GB on PlayStation 5, 16 GB on Xbox Series X/S, and 15 GB on PC (or 18 GB if you have the High Resolution Texture Pack installed). It also adds a new side quest that connects to the story of the upcoming Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. To access the quest, players need to be at least Hunter Rank 9. While the game’s world clearly draws inspiration from Elden Ring, ENDALOR also features combat similar to other FromSoftware titles, relying heavily on stamina management. I’ve got a bit of a complicated relationship with Kingdom Come: Deliverance. I really tried to get into the first game a few years back, but honestly, it felt too awkward and I ended up stopping before I made much progress. It was pretty clunky – reminded me of Oblivion in that way – and while the sequel, KCD2, still has some of that, it feels much more refined overall. But what’s really struck me about both Oblivion Remastered and KCD2 isn’t necessarily about how smoothly they play, or don’t!
